Robert M. Haney, PE, is an electrical engineering consultant and adjunct instructor with nearly 40 years’ experience in the design, application, and field support of electronic controls and test equipment with United Technologies, Caterpillar, Delco Electronics, and other companies. If you're looking for a reference book as a technician this book is a MUST BUY!! There have been countless times this book has come in handy when working int he field. It very easily links theory to practice.

Paperback book was a cheap black and white knockoff, with the cover only being in color. Not worth the purchase at the price I paid for.
The book did have the information I needed but I cannot trust buying product through Amazon. I felt ripped off and will not use Amazon for future products.

More than I expected. Description said that it was a "like new", but I received a brand new book. The latest version of the text book was requested in class, but this was almost the exact same as 2011 edition. Works just fine for me.
Overall, very happy with a product.

Received the Kindle version yesterday and stayed up till 3am finishing it. Explains so much about the FBI investigation and Comey.

I knew the Obama's and Clintons hated each other but not how deep it went. Obama also hates Comey ("worst mistake of his Presidency") and initially wanted FBI to recommend indictment... But he couldn't convince Biden to run. Thus the flip and reluctant phony endorsement for Hillary. Now BO is campaigning for her as if he's running for a third term.

Hillary cusses like a drunken sailor in private and the book reveals the dysfunctional Clinton family and the true nature of Chelsea - Wow. And of course there's Hillary's weird relationship with
Huma...

It's been a long time since I read a book in one day. Seeing what Trump is up against (Trump covered briefly), it will be a miracle if he gets elected. But I still believe in miracles...

No Indictment??????

I started this book yesterday, and finished it this morning. Once you start it, you will find yourself not wanting to put it down.
I wanted not only answers, but what went on behind the scenes as to "WHY" no indictment.
I was one of many who watched James Comey make his case in listing everything his team of investigators found out during the year long investigation of Hillary's home server, and her reckless mishandling of some of our Country's most sensitive Classified info, along with her personal stuff.
When Comey concluded that there would be no indictment, my mouth totally dropped. I wanted to know how could he reach this conclusion??
When you read this book, the author lays out precise interviews of those close to the Clintons, and events as they unfolded.
I was so angry at Comey, and thought he lacked the courage and "other" things (ahem) to appear as to not standing up for the Laws, and caving in to political pressure. By reading this book, you will find out exactly "who" and "why" Comey had to do a total 180 and allow Hillary a pass.
I'm still angry at Comey for not doing the right thing, and standing for the Laws and not Politics! Hillary brought this on herself, and it isn't a right -wing conspiracy, political theater, or waste of taxpayers money, to get to the truth. We need answers, and not have those close to Hillary taking the "5th", Whenever, I hear that, I can't help but think "what are they hiding?"
Anyone who doesn't agree, needs to see how dangerous it is for America to go down this road. It shouldn't matter if you are a Democrat,
NO ONE SHOULD BE ABOVE THE LAW!!!!!

I had to get this book for my energy law and policy course. It's good in that it provides all the information you need policy-wise, but several times, I felt that the authors were pushing a certain point of view and claiming it was unbiased. That's fine I guess, as long as you're aware, and I think that at law school, you should be on the lookout for that stuff anyway. I didn't particularly enjoy the way the material was presented too much, but it did the job.

Bradman's Art of Cricket (like Bradman) is the best ever.

Reviewing the stuff of legends is not easy, especially when both author and text are deservedly recognized as the best ever in their fields.
Sir Donald George Bradman, AC, is quite simply the greatest exponent of cricket batsmanship to ever hoist the "willow wand." This is no claim based on partisan emotion; I am an American, and no partisan of any one cricketing nation. The proof lies in the astonishing Test batting average accumulated by "the Don" between 1928 and 1948: 99.94 runs scored for every occasion that he lost his wicket, so far ahead of other great Test batsmen that no serious comparison is possible. (The extremely gifted Barry Richards of South Africa averaged 72.57 runs per wicket lost in a brief international career, cut short by the international ban on South African cricket in the 1970's and 1980's. No other Test batsman has ever averaged over 62 runs per wicket lost in a career of more than 20 Tests played.) It is as though Babe Ruth had hit 100 home runs in one season, or Ty Cobb had maintained a career batting average of over .500.
As great a player as Bradman was, his volume on cricket's art is as monumental a work of instruction. The Art of Cricket dissects the game segment by segment: batting, bowling, fielding and captaincy. The section on batting includes instructive photographs of Bradman and contemporary greats playing the various shots - drives, pulls, cuts, sweeps and hooks - that comprise the arsenal of the cricket batsman. The segment on the pull shot is perfect in every sense - as instructive writing and as cricketing guidance. It has been remarked that an average reader will come away from the passage believing she can play the pull shot as well as Bradman himself.
If there is a weakness to the text, it is that Bradman devotes less time, and arguably less thought, to captaincy than he does to the aspects of on-the-field play. Readers in search of instruction on captaincy every bit as solid as Bradman's text on playing the game are encouraged to search for Mike Brearley's The Art of Captaincy, also out of print.
Indeed, the third book in my cricket "how-to" library is also out of print: Brian Wilkins' The Bowler's Art. None of these works has been matched in their areas of expertise, if we concede that Bradman is at his best discussing batsmanship. Brearley brings years of English County and Test captaincy to his book, and is as thorough as possible in his examination of the minute details which make for captaincy great or indifferent. If anything, Wilkins' book is the most important of the three, as it applies the science of physics to the fascinating topics of swing, swerve and bounce - of how a bowled cricket ball gets from Point A to Point B.
That such original research and analysis should be unavailable to the cricketing public is less unfortunate than it is criminal. Indeed, all three of these books deserve to be in print as standard and essential references.

One of the best Cricket coaching manuals

This is one of the best Cricket manuals you can get your hands on. The great man discusses issues releated to batting, fielding, and bowling that any smart cricketer of any level can find informative and interesting. He does this while still being able keep it simple - that is, he gets to the point. Other issues often forgotten in cricket books include sportsmanship, captaincy, and the history of the game. It is a very complete book, even though its first edition was published in 1956.

Any smart cricketer who wishes to improve their game can do no wrong in acquiring this book.
