Outstanding Book, a must read...

This book really clarified in my mind my Life's Purpose & calling.
The exercises really highlighted what was there all along, I just couldn't see it.
Then, it was like someone turned the lights on, I stopped trying to navigate my way
in the dark. It was all so clear, and the feeling of knowing what I want to do in life
is hard to put into words, its just a knowing. Like you just KNOW when your in love.

I even bought a copy and sent it to my parents.

Best Trading "Psychology" book of ALL TIME...

I had to read this book SEVERAL times before I "got it." When I finally did, my reaction was, "That's It?!?!" The answer is SO SIMPLE. The implementation may be difficult for you but the ANSWER itself is quite SIMPLE...

This is probably the best book on the REQUIRED psychology for trading that I have ever read. If you don't like it, it may be "too simple" for you and the messaged may go over your head as "unimportant." Read it again. Think about EVERY paragraph. "Am I doing that?" "Do I feel that way?" "Is this true for me yet?"

Worth the read

This book won't provide nitty-gritty tips, but will give the reader plenty to think about when it comes to their own trading. Definitely worth reading. In fact, I printed out the following advice from the book just to keep reminding myself of the simple truths of trading: Never add to a loser; add to a winner only; let profits run; cut losses fast; don't pick tops; don't pick bottoms; go with the trend. Yes, these are basic things, but as the book points out, it's important to review the basics every once in a while to keep from straying off the correct path.

It is the all-time 2nd best book for daytraders.

I train daytraders for a living, I make them read 2 books before they start: 'Reminiscences of a Stock Operator' and this book 'Zen in the Markets.' I quote it almost daily when instructing traders - Trade what you see, not what you think. It is a very quick read.

It is NOT for long-term stock investors, anyone reading it for those purposes will be disappointed and give it a negative review about how it downplays fundamentals, charts, technical patterns, and such. Short-term (like 1-2 minute in a trade) daytraders and pit traders are the ones who swear by this book, as I do. I traded on the floor of the exchange and still make my living in the quick in-and-out daytrading world, and for people like me this book is a must have.

Continues with the humor, snark and tension of the first...Bring on the Holidays!

This episode picks up right where the first left off (you definitely can’t read these as standalones); time to meet Will’s mom! Remember how I mentioned in my review of Episode #1 how much I liked Patrick and his snark? I now love Patrick, his snark and the fierce protectiveness he is feeling towards Will.

The meeting with Will’s mother Kimberly, and his Uncle Kevin goes about as well as anything has gone for these two so far. Will’s mother, who will never be confused for Snow White, doesn’t contain her disdain of Patrick and her suspicion of his tricking Will into marriage so he can get his hands on some money, which is fine since Patrick isn’t going to play nice with her either. I get the protective mother instinct, but Kimberly is a piece of work. Although we don’t meet Will’s father Tony in person, he is getting more aggressive in making his presence known.

There are also some more run-ins with Will’s ex, Ryan. Ryan is a heinous person. He seemingly has charmed most of the town, including Will’s mother, but he is quite abusive towards Will. Even his new man Hartley sees it and has compassion for Will. There is a flash of realization in Will that Patrick has been better to him in this short time than Ryan has in years, but it really hasn’t sunk in yet and he is still amazingly trying to figure out how to get Ryan back. I am looking forward to the moment when Will realizes how blind he has been to how horrible Ryan is.

We learn a little more about both Patrick and Will’s childhoods and we get a real feel for how hard Will struggles with his addiction. Patrick has overcome a lot to get where he is and we all know how much he cares under that brash exterior. I fell so much harder in love with Patrick for the way he takes care of Will in this episode from worrying about his health to giving him pep talks about his struggle to stay sober.

As the men go about keeping up appearances and Patrick starts working at Healing’s new neurology unit, they settle into a bit of a routine. Patrick’s whole life has been upended and rearranged, but he doesn’t seem to mind too much, especially once he is back working, and his appreciation of Will keeps growing. As much as Will is trying to fight his attraction towards Patrick to focus on ending the marriage while keeping his foundation money and of course, getting Ryan back, it’s not as easy as he’d hoped. Although there haven’t been more than a few kisses, the sexual tension is ratcheting up. I don’t think Will is going to be able to resist Patrick’s appeal much longer… at least I hope not!

This second episode continues with the humor, snark and tension of the first, but also brought out the emotion as the two men start to really get to know each other. I like the way their relationship is growing as they each learn the others’ habits and quirks. I’m enjoying how Patrick is unwittingly entrenching himself in the town of Healing even as he keeps talking about looking forward to the time when the marriage is ended. Bring on the Holidays! What could possibly go wrong?

This series is really growing on me. Will and Patrick are so adorable together, but I think I have them backwards in my head. My problem not yours or the authors. In book two Will takes Patrick to meet Nona (his grandmother.) Hopefully she is going to fix everything and find a way to get them out of their marriage. Grandmother is a pip. She is the fun grandmother that everyone wants and she has a thing going on with her female live in housekeeper. What that thing is I haven’t figured out yet. I don’t think the family has either.
Will’s mom is a piece of work, and she is growing on my nerves as well on Patrick’s. Why she feels that Will should be with his ex is the big question. Can’t wait to find out more about this most unlikely couple. In Will & Patrick Do the Holidays (Wake Up Married, Episode Book 3, out now.

This is freaking awesome!!! I can not get enough of this serial! Will and Patrick are back in Will's hometown. He's seen some people from town, but now it is time to face the wrath of his mother and uncle.Patrick is such a sarcastic, seemingly heartless, self absorbed jerk...but I don't buy it for a minute. He has a soft spot. He's got rough history. I can't wait to read about it and find out what truly makes Patrick tick.

We meet and see Will's ex Ryan throughout and OMG I HATE HIM!!! I am really hoping that Will and/or Patrick knock him on his butt some time in this serial. He is such a jerk who has made Will feel so small without Will even realizing it. I am getting pleasure out of seeing Will and Patrick get closer together, even if we still have a long way to go before they acknowledge their feelings for each other.
